You have nothing to be sorry for, everyone makes big mistakes. Although i'm not sure what the magnitude of your issues were/are, i'm still incredibly happy and relieved you didn't pull the trigger, or ram into that tree, or slit your throat. Please, take things easy, if you need someone to talk to, i'm sure many of us would gladly listen and give advice, but do make sure to contact a professional. Do not be scared to ask for help.
