Reviews for "Tower's Tactics: Throne"

ok................

it was a ok game, vary uniqe but it was hard to control my guys for some stange reason..............

needs more skills

my units dident do wtf i told em to half the time and selecting sucked

sound 0 becouse i was listening to kmfdm/avenged sevenfold/lords of acid/etc.

Nice

I can see this took alot of work.

- Menu graphics are just amazing, ingame graphics are good enough.
- Sound is realy good choosen.
- Ingame combat is sort of slow but its ok.
- The gameplay is bad, you have to control 4 units at a time and you have the time to control 2. You should make it easyer to select units.
- Menu's look great, but switching between menu's realy takes time if you want to modify the whole team.

And this:

I had te choose between types of army guys i wanted in my team.
I had to choose which attacks I would like them te learn.
I had to choose in which specs each unit is good at. (health etc.)
I had to choose which attacks to use in combat.
I had to choose which unit to "summon" first.

I had to choose all this without having 5 minutes of actual action.

I had to choose to many things! im just a noob! you should make it easyer to choose between things, i didn't know what i was doing.
85% of my time i was modifying my team.
Most people in newgrounds just want some hardcore action, so my tip is to drop alot of things to choose from so the players can play more.

It was realy fun playing though :P

I hope i helped u a bit, keep up the good work.

cya!

Always great to see a new (intelligent) review. I will definately remove the team modification system in the next version, and perhaps enact a maximum team size of 3 or 4, with a greater focus on better controlling a smaller number of units. I realized that Newgrounds wants INSANT ACTION a bit too late in the production of this game, but I'll remember it for the next one. :D Thank you for commenting!

nice

not bad, 's ok, nice tracks anyway (0_o)

Needs more work.

Aesthetically and musically, this is a beautiful game. The interface sets a new bar Newgrounders have to aspire to. The presence of an actual plot also earns you some deserved points. However, I found myself liking the buttons and MaestroRage's music far more than the actual game. For all the work that must have gone into it, as a game, it's only mediocre and somewhat boring, which shouldn't happen with a battle game. It has great potential, but put a bit more time in making the play experience enjoyable than you do the buttons. :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm currently in the process of making the sequel to this game, and would like to hear your suggestions for improving the gameplay experience.
