Reviews for "Star Serpent"

not bad

I had alot of fun playing this for a little bit but there are a few problems i noticed, First of all and my main problem was i seem to have hit an infinite loop in the game(its still playing while i write) and i cannot recive damage so that was bad. Second, a minor explanation of the powerups would have been nice(boy didnt i hate getting the "comet cannon") other then that i give this a 4/5 for being a delightful was to kill time at work or in small bits of time. it would be nice to get an update with a few more enemys and a couple bug fixes though. >.< keep up the good work

Great Shooter, WAY TOO LONG

As stated in other review's the levels are way too long. A good variety of weapons, and good idea, but i played the second level for at least a good half hour, to no Boss Battle. So my conclusion is shorten the levels, everything is perfect. This is Tree signing off.

srsly

I just quit the game at what must have been the 10 minute mark on Level B because it just kept going on forever. I was killing enemies with such ease that I was in no danger whatsoever but there was no end to them. Shorten the levels by at least half and submit V2.0 and I will play it again. Until then, screw this game.

The game was designed well with regards to powerups and enemies and everything but the levels are just way too long. The game would easily have a 4.00+ score if not for the length. Neither you or your testers noticed how horribly long this was? Honestly...

Please Kill me

As everyone below me said, The levels are WAY too long; I played the first level in a realtivly short amount of time, untill i got up to the boss. He has way to much health. I decided to skip to the last level to see how hard it would be, and i was utterly disapointed. I could use any weopon that shot more than one missle at a time and and decimate the same 3 poorly devolped enimies forever, that is if I hit my head and found this crap fun. I'm not even going to list all the flaws there are in this Atrocity to mankind. Put simply, I'd rather eat my young then play this game.

Some Tweeking would make it awesome.

I love the idea and it works decently well. there are a couple of improvements I would recommend. The key improvement that you could do is first to change the sound that tells you to fire. I managed fire almost exactly when the alarm sounded several times and wound up with seemingly random results. This might be that the sound and the timer aren't exactly synchronized or that the sound is just so ... umm... unpointed that it is difficult to nail down when it starts. Maybe use a sound that has a hard, loud, and very definitive start. After all, races start with a gunshot.
I'm also a little confused as to whether or not it counts the time from the sound to the shot or just over time in general.

That's all technicalities though. the game was great, it would have been even greater if it were bigger, with more little minigames or more levels, but in general, woot. fun! and adictive! Fived.
