if you die once you are fucked because you won't be able to kill anything on level 2 with 1 laser. if that's how you want it then just remove the extra lives so i can restart the game quicker.

Nice, but the lives don't matter.
On first look, I saw the familiar Blazing Star sprites(readers, if you don't know what that is, Google it) and I thought "Oh darn, a Blazing Star clone". I was proven wrong, with none of the original Blazing Star concepts(such as a charged shot) in the game.
The menu was really nice to play around with. I liked the way the ship powers up, rockets flying everywhere and all. However, there is one major problem with the game:
Once you die, you lose all your power-ups.
This wouldn't be a problem in the first or maybe second level, but beyond that and dying will turn the game into pure HELL. It becomes nearly impossible to destroy any ship, and thus, you lose all your lives quickly.
Overall, nice game, but really needs to fix the major problem I mentioned.

one of the best side scrolls ever didnt like the fact u cudlnt go all the way to the bottem or top wich made it very hard and that u died in 1 hit need to have lives u can grab sorta like the power ups and you need to be able to get ur power ups back when u die good game very anoying thow:(
Very good effort.
This is a much better game than your first shoot em' up, The Eva Project. But this game still has a number of issues all it's own.
When I move my ship up and down, I can't move it to the very top or bottom edge of the screen, which severely limits my ability
to dodge particularly large waves of enemy bullets well.I'd like to be able to move to the very top and bottom of the playfield, otherwise, it feels very restricitve, and subtracts from the fun.
After I picked up about 5 pwer ups and died, I didn't get to collect any of them when I came back. That sucks, and needs to be fixed.
The music is pretty generic electronic fare, and need to be more exciting.
