Good, but a few flaws
Very good game, but you might want to tweak a few things in the final version. For one, it's almost impossible to get any more power-ups once you die, because the enemies get stronger. And maybe a little more time to collect the bonuses after a boss, because the shots are still going and you end up dying easily. Other than that, good job.
Nice.... But....
I thought the game was beautifull rendered, well put together and played very well.... But.... when after the twelth time running threw the game I couldnt beat the first boss.... something is wrong. And lets not start getting insulting and say I am bad at side scrollers.... I grew up when the side scroll flight games were big.... Defender being one of my favorite games as a child. The gaps arent big enought to manuver with the arrow keys. The ship lists farther than it should when you let off the key. The boss carpets the area with to much fire.... and not enough variety in the shot. Basically it made me just not want to play. You have a good beginning... but thats about it.
Simple but worth it
was the simple game play. but it is worth playing. even with the old style gaming play, it plays well.
Interesting
Interesting game, it had great graphics, perfect sound quality and the music blended into the background.
A few things that gave me a twitch in the left hemisphere of the brain were my inability to reach the top and bottom of the screen.
The question “To what gravity source do my bombs fall toward” and don’t you dare try saying “oh, you’re in orbit around a planet” cause we all know better and it’ll buy you a smack.
It was a bit difficult I would recommend difficulty levels and maybe more hit points.
I know it’s unlikely that you will change this game but I don’t think anything gets done without people first complaining about it on the internet;
As my personal preference I completely distaste all games wherein you lose your weapons to death.
