pulp fiction????
other than the music this movie has nothing to do with pulp fiction. This video was closer to the peoples mario in its graphics and animation. Even though it was an amazing video, it looks too much like the latter to be completely original.

There should definitively be more Mario noir-movies like this. Saw a cool render pic on the net once...a Mario with one arm around peach sitting on one of those brick blocks hanging in the air. you could also see some monsters and everything was made in a cool, realistic manner with a slight apocalyptic touch...saw it on extralife a long while ago...maan someone should make something out of this whole Mario noir thing...and you did a whole lot there. thx ^^ (even if the monsters looked a bit...strange...^^)

I gave you a Top Five, and I rate this movie a 9, but there are some points you could've doen better. Like, the Goomba, Koopa Troopa, Piranha Plant, and Bowser artwork. I thought Toad only lacked size, but other then that, he fit in perfectly with the style of the flash.
As for Mario, take away the cigarette, and he would be a winner. See, I, who hates M rated games, and hopes Mario will never be in one, did not even mind the gun, or the blood. The cigarette, though, I did not like. That and the enemies artwork. They could be a bit better. As for the gasoline, I thought a flamethrower would have been a better power-up( perfect pulp-fiction version of a Fire Flower ). Though the gasoline was fine, and I had no problem with it being the power-up.
So all I have to say, is great job, but if you were going for perfect, you could have taken away the cigarette, get better artwork for the enemies, and that is about it. Those changes would make it a perfect 10 Overall for me, but the way it is now still gets a 9.=)
