Reviews for "The Valkyrie Ep.1"

Classy.

Simple and stylish. Nice depiction of the river styx. The differences between the real world and the afterlife were subtle but noticable. Walking animation was a bit ropy though. Exellent and effective sound.

Thanks for the compliments and the criticisms, I will look out for the walking problems in later episodes.

I like it

Unordinary style is welcomed in my books. I enjoyed watchin this. Keep up the good work

amazing

I would just have to say I enjoyed this well. I'm not exactly sure where your going with the story, I'm thinking maybe he may be a warrior, not of physical battles, but waging the battle of life, living, and heartbreak. And therefore he's put up a good fight, deserving his valhalla. But regardless, I will agree with the choppy animation, though unique, would make the flash more enjoyable and pleasing to the eye if it were just a tad smoother.

But overall, I can't wait until the next part comes out. I WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS!!! haha

I loved it

I am a die-hard mythology-lover, and Disney's Hercules really pissed me off, but I don't really care if this is 100% accurate according to the Edda, because this isn't a traditional Norse mythological story in the first place (atleast, I never heard an old Scandinavian myth about New York city). Who says the nine worlds around the ygdrassyl didn't change a little over the years?

But back to the animation, the drawing style was awesome. The monochrome colours give a very mysterious effect, next tot hat, I love the way you drew the houses and those doctors.

The scene in which the guy got hit by lightening could have been better, though.

But the only thing about this that was a bit dissapointing was the length. I don't mind short things but I was really curious about what would happen after the "battle" with the seaserpent.

Nice story

I like the comic book/children's story book styling of the drawings and the notion of an afterlife though as a constructive criticism note, I think you need to work on his walking etc. Little things like that can kind of throw you off when you're concentrating on the story. Nice work mate, I'll keep an eye out for the next ep.
