Reviews for "{dj-N} Which One?"

The first

I agree with Endeavour, the bass is kinda hiding in the second version and the kick stands out more in the first.

hmm

Both of them are amazing,
But if i had to nitpick, i would go for the first part.
Why ?

Because the first part sounds "cleaner" and more professional.
By sidechaining it you separate the kick and the melody better.
Also the bass comes out better at the first part.

At the second part its a bit chaotic and not as professional as the first one.
I would go for the first part ;),

Good luck mate,
Endeavour

I'd have to say second

Even though the part 1 sounds a lot more hardcore and jumpy, after a while all you seem to hear is the wah, wah of the synths coming through the side chain and it gets a little ordinary especially in the last part of it where the kick cuts out but the sidechain effect is still going on.

The second part however, since it is not sidechained as much, the whole mood of the piece seems a lot more high energy and fast paced to me.
Probably because more of the synths are getting through and you can enjoy more of the small details which are otherwise cut out by the sidechaining.
Personally, so me part II seems to have a more trancy feeling to it than part I, and I can imagine listening to it for ages without getting bored of the song.

Hope this helps out man

peace~

u gotta use both

if u can, try to squeeze in both to the songs ur usin this kind of shit for, the work well together, maaybe not sequential, but in the same song nevertheless. awesome songs bro

The second

The sidechaining on the first half is a bit excessive IMO, but I don't think mixing in a little would hurt.
