I have always wondered
What is the best method for sidechaining?
BTW I think the first part sounds much cooler, the second part sounding more sloppy

option B
i like the second one. now let me try to explain because i dont know a lot about this music. maybe have the 'static' sound thats going on in the background have a quick fade in and quick fade out rather then just starting and stopping. of course that only applies if im listening to it correctly. thats what i would like to hear anyways.
Mix the two
I see your dilemma in picking one.
I'd suggest suggest a mixture of the two. The first is a little too sidechained, while the second, although awesome, sounds messy at parts. I would say to selectively sidechain some of the notes, while leaving some at their full length.
coolio
last 15, i like how it sounds smoother.
Sweet!
Personally I would think both would be wonderful in one song all together!! The first one fells more relaxed in a way and the second one just gets you more excited.
