IMPROVEMENTS MAKE THE TART A BIT FASTER CUZ IT WAS BORING 2 WATCH AND MABYE MAKE IT EASYIER

needs work
this game could have been great butthere were a few flaws. it took too many hits to kill the monsters and the stone pillars. for a game based on speed, that completely killed it. the hammer was too short and hitting the monsters was tough, also, the platforms on the area where you had to avoid the fireballs were too small, you couldnt help but to get hit. work on it, alright?

Good game, but the walls in the 2nd "scene" takes too much time to be destroyed, i got tired after the 3rd one. Keep it up.
Well
It's really, really nice. But there are a coupla things that held this back. Some parts were, IMHO, too hard. For example, the first column scene, guys drop down on top of you, literally, and there's no time to get out of the way. I couldn't see anyway to avoid dying there. Also the fireballs are pretty friekin exacting. You have to be standing in exactly the right place to avoid 'em.
Also, why make the columns so resilient? I think 4 shots would have accomplished the goal of forcing the player to stick around instead of running from the little subterranean baddies. 10 was a little unnecessary, like the last guy said. In the end, the play involves lots of slow periods interspersed with extreme danger. It would be more fun if it were more fast-paced, and just a tiny bit easier. That said, this has all the elements for a really awesome game. Great animation, sounds, style, level design. Anyway. Hope it's constructive.
Needs work
I think you got the whole thing down you just need to tweak the damage done to and caused by the character. To "burn" down pillars it should require 3-4 hits at most. Also it takes longer to kill the monsters then it does for them to kill you. You can't even jump out of the mob, once they land on you your dead. Makes no sense not to have a way to fight your way out. Also since they do do sooo much damage you shouldn't have them magically multiply once you've killed them. It's there as a good game but the balance is all off making not as fun and frustrating. I too didn't bother a 2nd go. I give you high marks as the game could be really great and the animation is great too. 7/10 3/5
