Must play for A. H. fans
The hesitation and touch of the jumping needs a bit of tweaking, but it is playable.
If you liked Alien Hominid even a bit, you will enjoy this game, which seems to be the better cousin to A. H.

Reason for the 7
Ok the graphics really good...so is the style. But man...here are the things that DESPERATELY need to be fixed.
1) Sound...the sounds that it makes when you pick up the gold things is obnoxiously annoying and louder than the other effects!
2) The walls take forever to destroy
3) In the room where you are jumping from platform to platform dodging jumping fireballs...ok, I clearly make it over the jump, but they continue to hit me while i'm standing on the next platform!! Space it out a bit! Its not fair that I get hit even though I jumped over them...(they hit me on the side cause there is not enough platform room to clear them.
4) When the creatures fall from the sky, they all land on you usually killing you or hurting you really badly...not cool.
My opinion
I found it to be quite fun.
Good graphics, decent sound, fun-ish gameplay and it's just.. fun!
The only issue I found (I didn't play for too long) is that the walls SUCK.
I mean, seriously. There is no skill involved in destroying them, or any fun for that matter. So why put them there? At least give them a LOT less hit points so you dont have to stand there holding down 'S' for ages, you can shoot it once or twice and they go. Simple =]
