Good, good.

I think the song certainly was pretty good, but i simply dislike the sound of synthetic violins. But that's just me, I play an actual violin all the time, and now the sound of synthetic violins just sound wrong to me all the time. Like, it doesn't sound right, like a violin should sound like, you know?

If you could get the user PessimistOwl (who commented earlier and proposed doing so) to play it and have it recorded for you to put as part of the song (replacing the synthetic violins), I think that would be great to hear.
But, yes, I certainly do agree that playing by ear is difficult... but not impossible.

I would offer to do it myself(it doesn't sound very hard), but my recording equipment sucks, so it probably wouldn't improve it at all. -.-

A proposal.

While I liked the song, I always hate the sound of synthed violins....

If you could get this in sheet music, I would try my best to play it for you and record it and send it back to you...but playing violin from ear is a bit...difficult to say the least.

As a (amateur) violinist, this song makes me wince. The idea of playing something this fast and then still having perfect intonation on those accents (which btw, are a sign of a very young (like Mozart or Mendelssohn) composer, but I'm not one to talk, being 16) is scaring me. That being said, this was probably on a synth, so I won't berate you too much. On the other hand, you DO want to avoid this.

It also seems that its supposed to be a building song, but it goes back to the tonic at random times. I understand that this may seem necessary in a loop, but have you considered a Shepard scale-esque loop?

I usually give points where my vote is based on what a lay would think, but my review score is based on how good you are from a musical standpoint. This explains the 5x6; its good if you know nothing about music but it can use a lot of improvement.

Thank you for the review. However there are a few things that I would like to correct.

This pieces is -impossible- to play on one violin. Certainly it may be hard to tell/distinguish, however this is a piece that would be played by -two- violins. Unless it is possible to bridge two notes that are an octave apart. I wouldn't avoid it personally, because I think it sounds really nice as it is. I would recommend that a solo violinist avoid it, it would probably hurt their hand.

It's not necessarily a building song. It's really just a loop. A four chord loop that is repeated. And honestly there wasn't much else that I would add onto it. It may sound incomplete as it is, but the incompleteness is what that drives it on. In addition, this is also a loop excerpt from a bigger song.

It Sounds...

As if you are trying what you know. A very powerful beginning like you usually do, but is beginning like most of your other things, to lead to the same thing. You need to diversify and try new things to catch people's attention.
You have a gift, now is the time to get past the mediocrity of what people like to hear and get to the point of what you like to express.
I know you are capable of a lot more, time to let loose and show those people what true art is all about...
