Impressive... with a little tech undertones this might just work for a menu screen of sorts for the project. I like it.

Not bad........
But it could still use some work. The violin sounds hollow, and that's how it should be, yet sounds empty at the same time. Mayhaps throw in some cello and base undertone to give it a more............. full, feeling? Trust me, just try it. The base especially. The base is very unobtrusive compared to most high-pitched instruments, such as violins, therefore making it very good for fleshing out orchestraic and classical pieces with a lot of high frequencies going on. But still, very good for a quick creation. Now I shall stop my rambling.......................

I think the song certainly was pretty good, but i simply dislike the sound of synthetic violins. But that's just me, I play an actual violin all the time, and now the sound of synthetic violins just sound wrong to me all the time. Like, it doesn't sound right, like a violin should sound like, you know?
If you could get the user PessimistOwl (who commented earlier and proposed doing so) to play it and have it recorded for you to put as part of the song (replacing the synthetic violins), I think that would be great to hear.
But, yes, I certainly do agree that playing by ear is difficult... but not impossible.
I would offer to do it myself(it doesn't sound very hard), but my recording equipment sucks, so it probably wouldn't improve it at all. -.-
