Reviews for "Sin City Tribute"

too bad the music sucked...

Would have been a good movie if you had picked better music. Sorry, but the cranberries aren't working with that type of flash...

Asshole

You can't just trace the stills from the comic book and say you drew them. There was like 1 self-drawn picture in that whole thing. Anybody who's even merely flipped through any of the books at Barnes and Noble would know those are straight from the book. If you're going to do a tribute, try making the art yourself. Don't just pan someone else's work around the screen and make the eyes blink. I like that song, though.

I liked it

some good scenes are missing. but it was good. covered the main characters.

This wasn't the greatest piece of work.

Looking through other reviews, I must agree, the music wasn't that great, but I guess I can't really criticize you on that because music is opinion based. Also, the eyes of some of the drawings (or tracings...most likely tracings) just annoyed me because the eye seemed to wobble, especially when the character was breathing. By the way, when will most animators see that making a body bigger doesn't make the drawing seem like it's breathing, it just makes it look tacky.

Hint: Make the CHEST grow VERY SLIGHTLY, have the ARMS move SLIGHTLY outward, have the HEAD SLIGHTLY move up, and then return. This should make a better breathing effect. And for those who disagree with what I say, tell me how I'm wrong...

Anyways, you did an ok job, I advise not doing anything similar to this again though, sorry. Perhaps use "better" music, work on the breathing technique, and don't do tributes, because tributes are merely collages that move (most of the time). Lastly, for the viewers, "too short" isn't bad, "too long" makes a flash boring.

Not bad

A decent somewhat artful capture.
