Reviews for "MMPolarity Reconstruction"

Impressive...Very impressive indeed.

I'd like to say that is the best Megaman-based game I've seen on Newgrounds since Megaman X Next (if you wanna play it, just search the 'portal, lazy arses!). I've also always been a fan of Ikaruga, which I played on my Dreamcast, and while I never went past stage 3, it's still was a great game.

So let's get it straight: good crossover concept, good, non-repetitive missions(the stages were, at least, differents from what I saw), an little push to the player to get better (the cheat codes!), good animation(not very choppy -- if at all, and that might be my computer actualy) and nice play control.

And decently challenging, to boot. All in all, very, very nice game, and it's going on my favorite list.

One nitpick...there is a large hole that you need to jump in the second part of the third stage, and I gave up at about the...fifth time. It's a liiiiittle to big. Unless I'm missing something. Oh well!

Frankenroc responds:

You are missing something. It has a slight puzzle element to it. Here's a hint, don't destroy the wind blower until after you cross the hole...

Hope that helps. Thanks!

Pretty cool...nice way of blending in 2 good games

The game was pretty cool. I liked how you blended Megaman (best 8-bit/16-bit character) and Ikargua (best shooting game for Gamecube). This was interesting as well as your series you had...BUT I found one glitch (that's kind of nice).

I noticed this when I was bored. You can (technically) stay alive forever and never let the game end for you. When you have an extra life or you're about to die, you can quickly push the INSTANT KILL button and start over on the level. You'll restart with your extra life you gained. Anyways, good game. Hope to see you make more.

Frankenroc responds:

I intentionally did that so if someone had a bug, they wouldn't be penalized for something that essentially wasn't their fault. I of course didn't state that in the bug report screen for obvious reasons... haha.

solid game

neat concept, it blends
the stratigic concept
of 'gradius v' and 'megaman',
where depending on what
color coding you are, you
can only recieve damage
from the opposing color
coded enemies. the game
as it is is amazing, very
in likeness of the actual
snes game...though throwing
in a strategic element further
improves upon most other
flash, sprite games. making
it very creative and original,
unique experience to play.
also challenging too,
excellent job overall.

Frankenroc responds:

The polarity switching idea, in my head, actually game from Ikaruga. Glad you liked it just the same though.

hey great game

but what shadowwarrior's comp is doing all comps do, but u can turn off that alert so it wont pop up, so u dont need to worry about that.

Frankenroc responds:

Not everyone will turn off their StickyKeys, though, just to play the game. I simply never pressed Shift five times in a row with no other keys inbetween when I was testing...

I loved this game!

i loved it, there is a major glitch in it though

right click and press play and you skip a section of the chapter (like it goes to the next part of the map)

hopefully you can fix this in the next version ^^

Frankenroc responds:

Ah, yeah, need to block right clicks. Why didn't I think about that?
