Awesome Work!

I love these side-scrolling shooting games. This one is quite good. Although I have a few pointers:

-Increase the difficulty a bit. Don't make the "Bosses" too predictible. (ie Scrolls left, Scrolls right, repeat.)
-Graphics are old school. Which is great but it gets boring looking at the same few objects over and over. Add more enemies, backgrounds, maybe even item pickups.
-Weapons; include more then the ships normal shooter. Enemies could drop pick up items.

-Extras: Story might be nice. Variety of levels (ie different planets, enemy bases, not just stary background. ) More dramatic music. Maybe special boss music. Cheats. Everyone loves them. Add a stage select, hidden guns, or infinite lives codes.

Like I said the game is awesome but it can also be spectacular!

Great Start

Reminds me of an old amiga game I used to play back in school. Could never remember the name of it though. Would love to see power-ups but better gameplay control wise I feel is key. I'm not sure if every PC is stupid like mine, but it can only take 2 or 3 simutaneous key inputs so if I'm trying to move diagonally and shoot it won't work. Maybe implementing the number pad? It would also be cool if some enimies stayed around galaga style instead of just scrolling by. Like I said, great start, can't wait for the next go.

Nice

Pretty cool shooter. A boss-o-meter would be handy though, so you know how much health the boss has left. Powerups of some kind would be cool too, temporary and score boosters so you can get better ones. Yeah... It's cool. I had my sound off though so i don't konw if the sound was any good.

Good Revival

I liked your work with the pixels that you used, brung back a lot of the authenticity of the games from the 70's or so. Only next time make cooler things like ship that fly in and divebomb as a special move, that's really cool

the only thing is that there should be a paues button or key
