Nice tut, but there is one thing I don't get.
I'm trying to make a maze game, but the object only rotates.
Why is that?
I want it to go stright and stuff.

How come i get an error that says Clip events are permitted only for movie clip instances onClipEvent (enterFrame)? i wanted to create a racing game.

Make sure you listen exactly to what I say in the tut, you might not have your Car saved as a Movie Clip, to do this. Select your car, press F8 then select Movie clip. THEN put in the Action Script. Make sure to export it as Flash 6 before testing it out... Hope it helps.

not to be mean or anything, but this wasnt good....actually...ive not found ONE good AS tutorial....and ive searched for a while...the reason they all are so bad is that NONE of them tell you anything about WHY you put that ActionScript in the box, they all tell you copy-paste...but not WHATS in it!....im real srry, but...this gets a 3... A for Effort

People asked for the AS codes, so here I am, giving it to them.This was not meant to be some huge tutorial on how AS works. This is meant to get the New people to Flash moving. The first time I made something with AS I was so excited. So I studied it. And now I understand it.
You shouldn't rely on other people to teach you. Try figuring something out for yourself. Like I did.

Tutorials are always nice, and this one was really well done. A suggestion however. Maybe try making the font a little bigger, I had to zoom in to see it. Other than that, great job!
