First of all, thecris2001, you have just labeled yourself as an idiot. And I'm not quite sure I followed your flawed logic, either. Oh well, morons will be morons.

How are you gentlemen? All your base are belong to us. As the people before me stated before, guns are merely a tool. The gun is not the criminal. The gun does not commit the crime. The gun can not be tried, it can not be killed, it can not be jailed. The gun does not think. Why blame the gun? Human nautre, of course. The gun, aswe all know, is responsible for all our nation's murders! What you say!!! Blame humans for the crimes? Of course not. Just because we have to pull the trigger doesn't make us in the wrong. No sir, the gun is EVIL. Evil I tell you! So let's blame the guns. If we get rid of guns that will fix all our problems... right?

The gun is only one tool in the criminal's arsenal. And even if guns are banned, as the movie showed, do you honestly think that the criminals will turn them in? I mean, come on here. They're -crminals-. Someone set us up the bomb! They could always use explosives. Or blades. Or even a rock. You don't fix the problem by taking away the toy. Think of it like when you wer a kid, your parents ever take your favorite toy? Weren't you angry at them afterwards? Even if we did take away guns, it would make the criminals rebel even more. Especially after they realized that without guns, msot citizens are defenseless (Excluding me, as I own a sword and am skilled in sword play *Grins*). Okay.. I've reached the point where I'm just rambling on, so, I'm done.

You are right, banning guns is not the answer

The answer is awareness. Human beings are always looking for the quick fix. As this film shows, the quick fix will lead to even more destruction. What we have to do is punish the parents of the minor caught with a firearm. The parents are the ones that buy the guns, so it is up to the parents to tell their children the dangers of guns. Also, I know some NRA freaks like to keep their guns on display in their homes where kids can easily get to them. That is another problem that we should take into consideration. I know kids today do not have that connectiong with their parents because their parents are either drug addicts, alcoholics, abusive, or caught up with their own lives. These kids with high IQ's but with no social life are the ones shooting up our schools.To all those kids, try to make friends. It is a hard job, but it has to be done. Your friends will be their when your parents cannot be. Shooting up schools is not the way. In summary, the problem lies within the parents. Parents should talk to their children so stuff like Santee will not happen again.

A simple statement of the supidity of anti-gun law

First I must say that gun ownership is not a pro-active form of membership as some anti-gun ners have implied.. except where the rights of the people to fight against an oppresive and tyranical government to maintain or obtain its freedom. This is the first intent of this right as the constitution states so plainly and that this will not be infringed upon.. and that such actions to remove that right should be thought oppresive by the people of this nation. We live in a world of crime and violence wether we like it or not and as people living in that kind of society we should have the choice to protect our home and families in a reactionary method. There ofcourse should be pro=active measures taken to ensure your home and families safety such as good doors, locks, and sufficient lighting around your home to ward away would be criminals. It is a simple truth that crime wether it be gun related or not will still be prevalent in our society because of the people and not the tools they use to enact their crime. One person mentioned only 10 related deaths due to firearms.. but what he failed to mention was a statistic stating how many deaths total were related to violent crimes. The anti-gun community needs to wake up and realize that untill the criminal element is dealt with in our society removing just one of many tools available to them will NOT STOP CRIME!

And so what if all the guns are takin' away? Do you honestly think that citizens are out there shooting criminals?

Fact:Guns are preety much completly illegal in Japan.
Fact:In 1999 Tokyo Japan, biggest city in the world had less than 10 gun related deaths.
