Reviews for "Shadow Govt. Puppet Show"

Holy shit, man.

You keep getting better and better. This movie FUCKING RULES. I'll never look at our government the same way again!

The Secrets were great too. It's pretty funny after you find 100% of them...

Shadow Governments were never this silly

Well, not outside of Steve Jackson Games and their game "Illuminati". A fine piece of work from the boys at Disaster Labs. Everything was just plain cool, from the graphics to the sounds to the humor (dated or not). I also like the little touches, like the screens in the ball room, the plethora of secrets, the pop culture references, and the Satanic bowler at the bowling alley. Heck, the only problem I could find was the now-cliched bashing of France and George W. Bush, and that still made me chuckle. Good stuff, Neutron!

To start, I loved your preloader. I loved that you had the option to see how many kb's were left, the scene selection. It all was great. The idea was very inventive, and by all accounts, true. "Oh, how I pine for the days of OJ... and the Monica Lewinksi trial!" Good character designs, I liked the computer monitors representing all of the characters. I laughed at everything, especially the puppet reference. "How did you get past the bloody security?" *holds up a monitor with the "Ring" on it. A great idea, done quite well. Good work, and I hope to see more from you soon.

Good Movie but....

You should think up some new ideas, The gazalle? Come on, thats been done enough, and the only time I've liked it was in Xenogears.

DL-Neutrino responds:

Yes, it is worth noting that there was a trend of floating mechanical evil council movies that predates Xenogears by about 12 years. The trend lasted a long time and at its peak, it produced more movies in a single day than stick figure animations in the same week. Highlights of this new age movement included such great films as, "Timothy and the Large Ball of Digital Tyranny", "The Adventures of the Huge Mechanical Senate", and the ever popular, "Look At Me! I'm an Enormous Wad of Televisions!"

hahaha

that one part with the clip of "banzai" in the background monitor... good stuff!
