Reviews for "US vs RIAA"

Where did you get this info?

It seems legit, but a bit out there. But they were all well stated and it does show the ignorance of music companies. Good job.

Good

This was well said.

I really highly doubt....

Someone from the RIAA is going to come to Newgrounds, do a search for RIAA related flash, find your entry, watch it, have a moment of reflection and suddenly decide that Kazaa and other P2P programs are beneficial. The reason record companies charge what they do for music is because of an estimated 30% decline in sales. Anybody who pays $19.00 for a CD off Amazon is a fuckin idiot and deserves to lose their money. I used to buy an average of 10+ CDs every month (on sale-average price $10.99), now I buy none, my justification for the price of broadband. If the RIAA had any freakin sense, they would get in the business of high speed internet and get out of the business of trying to regulate peoples lives.

I'm not going to sign any petition as that would be an affirmation of the fact that I use P2P programs and such a signature could be a legal document used against me in a court of law.

Besides, I signed one of those in the Napster days, look how well that worked.

Overall, nice flash, a little on the short, boring, and self-promotional side (VOTE 5, KEEP THIS AROUND).

Heh..

I only voted five so that the message is sent. 2600 etc saw this coming months and months ago. I didn't realize it was coming this month, I actually expected next month. The worse thing is that SCO is sueing Linux users at the same time as this so I'm very preocupied. I support you Kazaa users in America though. Down with RIAA and MPAA, those money-grubbing freaks are trying to overwhelm us! They've saved so much money for this while they could've spent it on making the physical product much more atractive. I'm fighting alongside many to defend my friends. Don't freakin' give up!

I'm not Pro-RIAA, but...

"They're going to sue a bunch of 12 year old girls!"

Riiight. This is pretty biased, and it's nothing that most people ahven't already heard. It's definetly not the best "Pro-Kazaa" or "Anti-RIAA" argument I've heard. Just because I agree mostly with what you're saying, doesn't mean that I'll give you the points.
