Reviews for "US vs RIAA"

I'm sure you meant well...

Who would have thought that music was being sold for a profit (!?)... but then look at any other product you buy in America. With few exceptions, 70% is the average markup from raw material and labor cost to actual shelf price. Does that give you the right to steal canned food? Crappy plastic action figures? Processed meat-like jerky treats?

Of course, I could really care less if people download Limp Bizkit and Slipknot songs off of kazaa... the sooner they go broke and disappear, the better. But, let's not get pretentious, eh? Stealin' is stealin'.

Heh..

I only voted five so that the message is sent. 2600 etc saw this coming months and months ago. I didn't realize it was coming this month, I actually expected next month. The worse thing is that SCO is sueing Linux users at the same time as this so I'm very preocupied. I support you Kazaa users in America though. Down with RIAA and MPAA, those money-grubbing freaks are trying to overwhelm us! They've saved so much money for this while they could've spent it on making the physical product much more atractive. I'm fighting alongside many to defend my friends. Don't freakin' give up!

ehh

As a flash movie it sucked. But I agree with you 100%

Oh and thank you RIAA, for making the world safe from 12 yo girls everywhere!

4 million is actually about 1.5 percent

Whats the point in a petition? The RIAA not going to stop caring and stop filing lawsuits just because a bunch of people sign a petition.

This is not why we should fight.

Yes, the RIAA is the worst organization in history. YES, they "steal" more than P2P users do, but this movie is NOT a crusader for the real reasons we should fight. Any decent minded person who wants to learn about the issues (and read articles with decent sentence structure and grammar) should go visit the Electronic Frontier Foundation (eff.org) or something along those lines.
