"Meh"
Very good, for a sidescrolling shooter -- emphasis on "for a sidescrolling shooter." If I ever feel like playing one of those, or learning some geology, I might very well choose this one. I did like the edutainment aspect of this, though... Very innovative! Bonus points for not making me lose my Earth rocks when I got the first question wrong, too. :) You could have used some background music, though. WOuld have really improved the atmosphere and easily gotten you a 6 Overall
Not Bad Overall
The controls were sluggish at best. After I had bought better ships and upgrades, the controls refused to function at all. None of the buttons to switch to better weapons worked, and after I hit "c" to change to the mouse, it locked out the keyboard entirely and I could not switch back. All in all, it's a good game but the controls definitely need work...
not quite good
Everything was ok except for the actual gameplay. Ship moves too slow. Reminds me of a certain NES game, can't remember the name.
It would have been better if...
You didn't get gameovers because I got to like lvl 10 then died.
