Originally had the idea for this cartoon back in 8th grade when I boarded the first 2 episodes. Once the 2nd one was finished I decided that I needed to rethink the whole series and re write this episode, that was almost 5 years ago now. Although it was a little more thought out than the previous episodes before it, I really had no strong vision going into this other than "This will be WAY better than the last episodes" and when I orignally started this I knew I wanted this be a bigger more ambitious project, looking back it's funny to think about how at the time I was like "oh yeah this is gonna be such a big episode, gonna be 15 minutes guys!" and somehow it ended up close to 45 minutes. I am proud I was able to see this project to the end but I'll admit now that's it out I don't really feel anything towards the project, I think that's mostly for my taste drastically changing over the course of 4 years and finding a lot the humor outdated, same with a lot of the older visuals, on my behalf, my team did an amazing job on the animation they did for me it was really exciting see it come together before the premiere. It probably sounds like I hate this cartoon and I don't, but I'm really set in the mindset of that if I were still in high school this would have been a lot more impressive. I think that just comes naturally when you do something of this scale especially before your brain is fully developed. Despite all the cartoons flaws and my personal feelings towards it, I do hope that people can still see the values in it that I saw that kept me motivated to keep working on this cartoon that even from the begining I knew not that many people would be into. I don't think I have a specific audience in mind for the cartoon other than people who were like me when I was 14 - 15 and loved seeing ameture flash artists personal growth and trying ambitious ideas. Most of the people I looked up to back then who tried doing stuff like this also always ended up quitting and became super insecure towards creating said thing that I originally found so inspiring, I guess my goal is to not become someone like that. I think even if the majority of audiences who see this hate it I think the idea of just a small group of kids who are like how I was back then see this and feel excited or motivated to create something of their own despite imperfections then I feel I've suceeded.
