Tips for greater fall distance (not high score)
- Ignore all coins. These increase your score. None of the medals are score-based.
- Collect every green powerup, within reason. Obviously do not take damage to do so. And if you have a choice of powerups, use some common sense -- obviously a health powerup does no good if you already have full health, and a shield powerup doesn't help if you already have a shield. An ability-increasing powerup is better than a grenade item in most cases. You almost always want the movement increase powerup unless you're low health and there's a health or shield powerup.
- Shield ability defends against flames and this doesn't eliminate the shield. This is how you get past all those parts with the cannons and then flames on the other side. Get a shield, don't get hit, maneuver these areas. I don't see this anywhere in the instructions, so it's a thing to know.
The game is unfortunately a good amount of luck as well, and towards the end it keeps getting faster, to the point it leans more on luck.
A very average game with a very above-average soundtrack. The music in this is pretty excellent.
