ok the delay when you get to the next pad is a little annoying.
I might found a slight bug, my cat jumped up and casued me to click the ab thign on level 50.
that might caused me not to get the jeep medal. Not sure we need 150 levels for a game.
I think you could done 50 maybe 75 levels. and it would still be a good game.
I might over used z at one point. Level 27 the timing seemed harder than the next 10 levels.
Made to level 60 before I had to go to work. Got 2 stars at least in ever level.
Wish there was either more cars to unlock or you could unlock them sooner

Bad Ride is a hyper casual game of timing.
How to play:
Tap the screen / press enter or spacebar - Move from checkpoint to checkpoint.
Special abilities:
Each vehicle you'll unlock has a different special ability.
Tap the special ability button (keyboard C) to preform action or switch states.
Tap the gears buttons (keyboard 1,2,3) to change speed
Powerups:
Use earned stars as powerups, you can earn a definitive amount of stars, so use them well!
1. Teleport - Tap the teleport button (keyboard X) to skip to the next checkpoint, teleportation cost 10 stars.
2. Shield - Hold down the shield button to use (keyboard Z), if the shield takes damage you will be charged 5 stars, the shield will last one extra second after taking damage.
Note: You can't get 3 stars rating for a level if you used a powerup to beat it.

I will check on that A-B bug, in the meanwhile try logging into the game again, the level selection screen has a background check for medals, it should unlock it for you.
Once in a while there will be a harder level to beat, usually after that a few easier levels will follow.
This game was not meant to be beaten in one session, though you totally could :)
When you unlock a new car, it's about the time to say, I did enough for the day, let's come back tomorrow.
Just take your time, give it a few days and enjoy the bad ride ;)
It's annoying that you can't click as soon as you reach the checkpoint. You become able to go again after some arbitrary delay and there's nothing that tells you when you can click, so if you want to go as soon as possible you have to just keep clicking really fast to see when you go.
Also, I found an exploitable bug. You can just keep holding Z throughout the whole game because you can have negative stars. You don't need any actual stars to buy the shield. I have -383 stars right now.
Edit: I also want to point out that almost all the medals have the wrong icons

You can go as soon as your car has finished rotating and it is facing the direction of the road ahead, that's your cue.
Thanks for reporting the shield bug, it is fixed now!
Edit: This seems like a bug in newgrounds, all the medals are setup right, if you click on a medal you will see the correct icon, but for some reason the list is all messed up.

Your progress is saved automatically to local storage.
If your game is not being saved it might be an error with your browser (try pressing F12 and see if you get any errors), you can try updating your browser, or use a different one.
The trailer looks good.
Unfortunately Im stuck at the loading screen.
It says `loading 100%` and nothing happens...
edit: It works now. I like it so far, but why is there no reset button?

Because it's pretty easy and fast to take a hit if decide to.
not bad! unnecessarily dizzying though.... to much zoom in/out and turning in my opinion.
