It's an interesting use of the mechanic and was alright overall for a game jam game, but it had a very confusing onboarding/tutorial process and could use some more juice (though it does have some nice elements like the easing of movement and nudges for attacks). I had no idea what units were good against one another and it was difficult to keep track of all of the systems in play, like ranges: could stand to use some more instructions as I could see a lot of people dropping it from confusion. I made it to the end, but it had a really frustrating period initially where I needed to try and memorize all these rules that I never felt I had a grasp on that I could see a lot of people dropping midway. Could use a reset/go back on movement button as well.

Repetetive after stage 5 as you just have to use the same old tactic over and over again ...

this game is unforgiving!

It gets boring quite fast after you want to play it safe and use hit-and-run-tactics to keep your last one or two hearts so you still have a chance to win instead of having to repeat the same stage for the 20th time. Guess I just suck at this game because I keep forgetting who is strong against which enemy.

its pretty easy if you've played fire emblem before, but it was fun nonetheless !
