I'm one of those few nice people that say please, thank you, and actually be polite to people serving me. I'm also a server currently at my job sometimes and I feel bad if I think I'm not moving fast enough. Luckily though I've never had to deal with rude customers yet.

I'm still the same, new job but still serving people. I have had to deal with arrogant and rude customers now, I see where Foamy is coming from now. Those people really do suck. There are also those customers that probably don't mean to, but they manage to make serving them a living hell sometimes. Then there are some that are rude as hell and making serving them a pain, These are the people that I think Foamy would really hate.

Kind of sounds like me when i rant about shit.

Foamy is always ranting and making good points, especially in this episode about custom service. Working retail can be terrible, and Foamy understand that pain. He also brings the humor.

Preach my squirrely brother!

Yup!

When you've worked in customer service, you relate to those still working customer service. The tolerance level and understanding will always stick with you for years to come because of the horrendous things you've seen during your time working in the field.

Anything that requires you to interact with the customer is considered customer service. And people who say " well that's what you're paid to do," are wrong. I'm not paid so you can take an emotionally-charged power dump on me. I'm paid to help you through your question, cash you out, or fulfill the service I was hired to do. Whatever happened in your day is your business and needs to be worked out by YOU.

Throwing emotionally-stunted reviews only discredits your position, not raise it.
