UPDATE (8-12-13) (you may need to reload the page a few times): Here's what's changed: Combos are now only reset when you get hit by an enemy, power ups will randomly drop in addition to dropping because of combos, and rockets can be reflected by spiking (like with Golf Carts). Plus, there's some visual updates. I hope I didn't make the game too easy...
EDIT 2: Woo! Daily Third! Thank you so much Newgrounds community for voting for my game! :)
EDIT: Thank you so much for the front page Newgrounds! It means so much to receive that honor and know that people enjoy what I'm making. I'm so glad that so many people have enjoyed the game and also left great feedback! As a minor note, the achievement alert text should now be readable on computers that aren't mine :)
Win the race! Again!
This game was about 95% done at the end of last Summer, when I decided it sucked/had to go to school. I came back to it this Summer, made big changes to a lot of things, and now it hopefully sucks less. I hope you all enjoy it very much!
I know it's a big departure from its predecessor, but if you just give it a chance, it gets really fun!
Controls are in game, just check the help menu, or pause, or read the messages that pop up everywhere. Good luck!
PS The medals are the same as the in-game Cheevos, so you can use the names of those for hints.
pretty good
Love it! Could do with some hints for secret medals though!
good work bro
how do I get the "qwop" cheevo?
p is pause but o is another stab button.
awesome game, keep making them
"live long and prosper"
Thanks, man! To get the cheevo, just do really badly during the sprint at the start. Like -1000 points bad. Just trip a bunch of times!
I thought there would be a cheevo for running the entire 4,000m backwards. There are also not any secret controls like in FTC (for example, pressing F in FTC). So many missed opportunities :(. Also, You can't read the announcer's comments the whole way. Overall, it still captures the comedy of it's predecessor. 4 stars
Really addicting
Glad that you like it :)
