First, I want to say that this is very enjoyable. It's got very clean visuals and a decent concept. Most of the problems I had came from a few gameplay elements, coding problems and level designs.
* ENEMIES *
Enemies are pretty easy to kill. If you can shoot them first, they're essentially dead. I'm not sure how to fix this, but maybe knockback, shorter flinch times and some way or another to dodge bullets (like jumping) might help. Also, on some occasions I'll accidentally land on an enemy, and my health will be drained almost immediately.
* Jumping/Flying *
The character falls entirely too slow. When your wings are out, there's no way to put them up (except shooting, but I felt like that was accidental) so you have to slowly descend to the ground. When shooting in the air, you come to a dead stop, this makes megaman=esque gameplay impossible.
* Water *
You fall way too slow in water. It's usually just frustrating, but in some places (like the ruins level) it makes it impossible to get by a trap without taking damage. Another problem I had was that the gears in the first level tricked me into thinking the water was safe, then after I bought the water resistance, I was tricked again by a pit on the ruin level.
* Coding *
First, the music. When you die and are returned to the title screen, the music keeps playing. Second, the lack of a "Quit Button" was rather frustrating. I can't tell you how many times I've had to kill myself.
(I know this game is still in the very early stages, but I just wanted to point out a few things.)
Also, despite my whining, I do rather like it.
