One of the best developers in Newgrounds, never expected less.
A nice twist on the 'room escape' sub-genre. Good music, good atmosphere, and variable endings depending on how much of the puzzle has been solved. Extra props to the dev for making puzzles that are both interesting, sensible, and more importantly not so obtuse that normal people can solve them. Most point and click games have really bizarre puzzles with overly round about solutions. The puzzles here are far more direct and have clues for the more complex ones. Well done all around.
It was decent and a good deal of the puzzles I felt like I was actually solving through my wit, and how the night phase gives some hints on how the defenses can be improved helped. But just a few puzzles such as the potion recipe being poured on the meat and locking the window really hurt the experience. I would have loved a hint system to help with more difficult puzzles to negate the negatives of this game and perhaps the requirement of more barricades and more possible villagers to die to make a longer experience with more puzzles for the full 5.
