one word. Upgrades.
It was funny, and you put a lot of thought into what you did. However, it lacked in replay value. If you had added more onto the game as we go along, it would have been worth sticking around to find out what changed. We end up with a short, although amusing..... thing. Almost a platformer. Actually, a platform aspect would have been amazing if it were a side-scroller. Throw in some checkpoints and stage ends, and some weird boss fights with other musicians, and you'd have a worthy full-length game. 2.5 stars for feeling like the game is only half there.
