GroZZleR responds:

It's fun to explore your feelings. Thanks for playing.

Is it possible to play this game on newgrounds instead of bigdino.com? I ask because it's only giving me the option of going there or playing some other ad game with no close button.

GroZZleR responds:

Your browser might be zoomed in and it's cutting some of the screen off. Try holding Control and spinning your mouse wheel.

This is a very interesting game. I think you pulled it off well and you should be proud of it.

There were two things that kept me from continuing on with the game after a few levels. The pace feels quite slow. I didn't dig using the arrow keys to move around. I'd much prefer to be able to assign my own keys. WASD would have been acceptable as well.

GroZZleR responds:

Somehow I broke WASD between versions. It's all fixed now. Sorry about that.

It's a unique idea, but it becomes tedious pretty quickly. I'd like to see the fractured-stage mechanic applied differently such that the player has some agency over it, e.g. rearranging pieces to clear obstacles.

GroZZleR responds:

In my original prototype of the idea I had the fractures moveable but it felt more like a jigsaw puzzle. I prefer the exploration style gameplay that's in there now. It's not for everyone. Thanks for playing and your feedback.

Sorry but crappy camera angles are nothing new in games. I get what you're going for but I found the camera to be more annoying than puzzling. It would have been nice to be able to drag and drop choice pieces. Not all of them of course because that would defeat the purpose but maybe dragging one around and if you try to drag a different one then the previous piece snaps back into place.

GroZZleR responds:

I originally had the pieces draggable but it degraded into a glorified jigsaw puzzle. I prefer the exploration element that there's now. Sorry you couldn't get into it. Try looking for posters that are cut in half or lamp posts that stretch from one fractured piece to another. Thanks for playing.
