Bravo! A brilliant concept, honestly. I also think the theme is a little depressing, but hey! A mother`s love is one of the most important things in the world so I can see why the story may be a little heavy handed, but maybe you stepped a little too far over the line of emotional and reached depressing. BUT if you have a strong heart you will love this game, it`s a wonderful example of how games SHOULD be. Games that push the envelope, games that are something you have never seen before. 4 and a half stars.

Brilliant concept, I can't imagine the programming headaches.
I'm a little disappointed the theme had to be sad/artsy though. I miss 'happy endings' and 'happy quests' and so on and so forth. They seem to be a thing of the past. In an odd way, I feel it is higher art to make something happy and beautiful than to tug at people.

It doesn't have to be negative. The child accepting the loss of his mother and finally being free of grief is, in its own way, a very happy ending.
i love the game and it makes me think how important your mother is to you and whenever shes gone you know that
