The maker of Minecraft made a game called Prelude of the Chambered for the Ludum Dare 48 contest.
I thought that it had a cool concept, so I made my own in Flash in 8 hours.

Of course it's not like Notch's by any means. It doesn't have monsters, or bosses, it's just a simple maze game. It does get boring too, I must admit. Well, that's what I get for not taking my time! :D

Good game

A good game here kind of hard to handle at first but the idea is to get past that the game it self seemed easy and you could use some impoved graphics in this as it was more on the simple side but I liked it and enjoyed the game play on this game so notbad

Some improved graphics would be nice

Hey thanks for the constructive review! Yeah I was definitely not very good at graphics back then, particularly under the time restriction. I mean, the main character is a faked pixel circle XD

I admit that this game was hard to navigate, but it was still pretty fun. I especially like how it really is something different. It still gets annoying. I loved gradually learning more. I didn't understand the broken walls at first. Seems kind of silly to have them.

It was maybe a bit too simple. There wasn't that much detail. Still, what it lacked in that it made up for in gameplay. It is a game where you want to keep on going. I like the idea of a prelude.

Except this game is great, I got stuck in a wall...

Yeah I wasn't the best at collision back then. Thankfully you can slowly back out of walls in this game, though!

May I recommend being able to adjust the rotation speed? When I first started playing this, I didn't expect the screen to rotate that fast tbh, and spent several minutes crashing into the walls lol. Took me awhile, but I got it eventually.

Giving players the option to start with a slow speed would be easier, and let the players themselves manually increase the speed once they become accustomed to it. Apart from that, it's a good game!

Haha yeah I feel the same way when I go back and play this every now and then :) I run into walls, then start glitching through them, hah!

This was made in 8 hours, one day some 3.5 years ago. Otherwise I'd totally go back and add an option for that! :D Thanks for your positive review!
