NOTE: THIS IS A STICK ANIMATION!! THIS DOES MEAN:
-THAT YOU SHOULDNT WATCH IT IF YOU HATE STICKS
-THAT COMMENTS LIKE "DO FB U PRICK" ARE REALLY POINTLESS TO POST
And Im starting fullbody anyway, so...

Anyways, I hope you like the animation, because I did put a fair amount of effort into it (and its my biggest project so far! At over 3 minutes and 20 seconds). It won 4th place in the SP Animation Contest, and you should be able to find most of the other entries on NG also.
All advice and constuctive critisism will be read and hopefully my next project will be a lot better because of it.

Thanks to Strills for helping me with the upload (a lot) and to everyone who also was in the competition!
If you think its worthy then please put in the stick collection for me :3

Thanks for watching this, after all the only reason I made it was for people to watch and enjoy.
Ummm. I guess if I type much more no-one would read it, so-

(oh, and I will try and answer your queries if i spot them)

very very impressive

i wasnt expecting much by your low expectations of mine, but it was pretty damn good. I had to watch it two times to figure out what to comment and critcize. Couple things; i say you should get a new animation for Marios running (when he was chasing the ship), it personaly wasnt the best. Another thing, it took me a while to realize that that floating shoe was actually an airship. I say at the beginning, you zoom out the camera (focused on the ship), get some pretty scenery in it, and show the scenery moving, to really get the feeling that the ship is actually flying.
One thing in general that i tought could be improved was that the movie was all action all the time. You got the heart-pumping excitment down really well, but you need to master using slower parts, and contrast. For example, when Bowser delivers his final hit to Luigi, you stretch out the last note really long, and you have a black screen for about fifteen seconds. You see Mario waking up from bed, awakened by a nightmare or thunder, and he slowly gets up, looks out the window, and a bolt of lightning illuminates Bowser for a second, as he says the whole thing about getting back Luigi.
Ehrm, i hope you understood that, and that i somehow helped you. Love your style, and i will probably see some excellent work from you.

i used to hate mario movies

but this........this is awesome the battles the blood the action i loved it

Okay, um, where do I start?

The animation was good, it conveyed the message well, but the stick figures bothered me, and not in the usual way that it bothers people. I'm a big fan of stick figures, and I'm a big fan of Mario, but they weren't quite mixed well. The plot did not support it, and it seemed like you were just trying to find an easy way to be able to use stick figures to represent characters. Also, there is no real indicator of who is who with the the characters. I had a vague idea because I'm familiar with the franchise, but what are people who do not follow Mario as closely as you or I going to think. Overall, it was a good animation, but you should have created your own characters to go with it, or at least strengthened the story a bit. I thought it was just all way too convenient. So, there was some good and there was some bad, and this is the longest review I have ever written for someone. Congratulations.

good story line

but the fight scenes need a little work. Overall its pretty good though

EPIC

I can comment this animation and this guy (Mesmay) with one word, the word is EPIC !!The animation is ultra smooth, well eased and dynamic I like the way you are animating,it's NEVER boring :)
