Blown out of Proportion is definitely one of your better creations. It’s like an amateur version of South Park with a couple Family Guy-esque jokes.
For the technical stuff, the voice acting was appropriate for this style of animation and the graphical cheapness really adds to the style similar to early South Park. Crude graphics go well with crude humor.
The main characters are interesting even if they are jerks. In fact, some of the insults they give are friggin’ hilarious. I broke out laughing after Mortimer told the fat blonde guy to go breastfeed his gay lover. Some of the jokes, however, seem a little drawn out, like Mohammad dancing around the main characters. . I also enjoyed some of the background gags such as the posters and background characters. When they go down town and meet all these creepy people, I could totally relate because I get a lot of these kinds of people wandering the streets where I live. Well, not exactly the same kind but you get the point.
That one guy holding the video camera hoping for a YouTube video has definitely made this movie an apparent product of the 2000’s. Damn kids nowadays and their fancy phones.
Good job. This was a cheaply made but funny movie. Best thing is, this is only the beginning of a very promising series.
