This animation was inspired by the controversy surrounding Tom Toles Times magazine article where a U.S. Amputee is in a bed and Rumsfeld was describing the amputee as “Battle Hardened”.
What makes this a joke is: the same generals seem to think that sending men to their death and along with that administration, cause tens of thousands of injured Americans is ok. But a cartoon about it is not…

When you have YOUR helo shot out from under you and have YOUR legs and hips shattered THEn you can have a say. Aside from that the art, music, and timing were excellent. I vote 5 on this as I was not part of the illegal war, but I was a UN peacekeeper, and I was shot 4 times, and are missing half my arm due to the people in that country not wanting me there
This flash although satirical in it's time of the absurdity of public opinion when swayed by Government propaganda was really aimed at those who put people in situations where these things happen.

I truely believe that war is the absolute worse thing Governments can do to their people. Sorry to hear about your dad, that really hits home. I'd never do that to another human, we need to strive for love not war. Not to be a hippie but that's the damn truth.
