Im going to give this flash a higher score then what I think I should have given it. And well this is why, this being my opinion and im not trying to force it upon anyone, I am in the military and I hate bush but Im completely for the war in Iraq because I've seen what good we are doing over there. The media shows all the bad things that happen but you cannot know for sure until you have experienced it first hand. You seem to be such a rebel yet you follow the millions of people who worship every word the media says. I would prefer, knowing this is never going to happen, if everyone stopped jumping to conclusions about the war in Iraq. You have no room to talk until you have personally been over there to see it. And if you have been over there to see it you would realize most of them do want us over there.

I don't agree with the war in Iraq, anymore then the war that is coming with Iran.

I do agree that yes, the people can be helped and that can be said with many countries in the world.

However, the point about this war is not the fact that the people are getting a deserved liberation, moreso was the motive for going in was all wrong.

The world does need to clean itself of tyrants, but it must be done in a way that goes with the support of the world, not against it.

Excellent work, as usual

It's nice to see a cartoon that almost mirrors my sentiments about the 'war' on terror. Granted, I've come to know your work to almost always be top-knotch, but this one's fucking great! That and I think you nailed Shrub with the whole monkey-boy thing.
To sum up, keep up the great works, I can't wait to see the next one you put up.

Would love to do more political anti-war flash. Really not impressed by the thrust towards WWIII.

Scary stuff

Not your cartoon, but some of the reviews. It is scary how many young people just suck up the propaganda. Reminds of the kids in Orwells 1984, who can't wait to turn in any adult who even thinks negativly about the government.

The horror that is this war on terror is creating an entire generation of young men who will be physically and mentally handicapped. And I've heard many stories already about how they are being treated just as bad if not worse than our Vietnam vets.
And I won't even get started on the Iraqi casualties.

People need to wake up and realize that this current administration is just as criminal and ignorant as any Muslim terrorist or Iraqi dictator.

I can only agree with you 100%. It's clear in our history that Man seeks to control Man... this is evident through Rome and many religions of the world.

Time and time again, the poeple of a nation or religion are used to propagate the desires of the some hidious person be it a king, a cleric or flavor of the month movement.

Brainwashing and social control is as real today is it has been since the Roman Empire. We empower some person to lead us like sheep into the slaughter of some false idealistic war. And people through the conditioning and brainwashing used to control them, do not even question.

I am a firm believer in social control, mind control and brain washing. It's historically evident, and many of the systems in place back then, apply to today.

People need to wake up and realize that we are easilly influenced and need to become more rational and objective of the world around us.

Sleeping in a state of blind fanatisism or patriotism is not going to help us reach a more evolved state of freedom and liberty for the planet.

Excellent

This was a superb work, an master stroke of criticism against the hypocrisy of the military in its desire to protect PR or troops. The music beautifully complimented the peace, and the tank animation was excellent. Your images were for the most part well chosen. I only have two minor criticisms. The first is that the burkha was not widespread in Iraq until after the invasion. Second, I feel that your using the fact that Dick can also mean penis in the peace slightly denigrated what was in many respects a masterful and poignant work.

I have downloaded this and will gladly recommend it to others.
