Not that bad a flash graphically, but shitty storyline. Typical alien attacks earth crap. We nuke him.
Old hat. Nothing new. Not enjoyable.

Now, how can I get those last 173.6 seconds of my life back?
And how do you get those 5 wasted days back?

I liked it, good content and the only things wrong with this entry is the fact that there are no voices for the charecters and the graphics need improvement. Other than that its quite good.

better than many

overall i liked this flash. Just two things seemed to stick out to me. First off, just as Shortmann said, alot of this was really dark. I dont know if its a product of you creating it on a different monitor than me, or if your gamma was just jacked, or if it was entirely intentional. While there is something to be said for a dark and brooding style, there were clips in this several seconds long with no detail at all to keep your eye buisy, so id just watch out for that. Secondly, while most of the art style while primitive, was still smooth and fitting, there were just a few sections that seemed rushed. For example when the alien first fires its weapon, your weapon flash was smooth, and deffinitly caught my eye, but then it jumps to a shot of the pres character taking the shots, and it is represented by a shadow and some green scribbles. Id just advise you to not let up on the style in order to push something your anxiouse for. Take the time and keep up the quality.

We are in the presence of greatness. It wasn't until I started assigning ratings above that I stopped and said ... wait ... now that I THINK about it ... the "President" is basically a triangle with a circle on top of it, wearing a tie. Of course, the artist of Doonesbury has been getting away with less realistic depictions than that for decades now.

And if you can make me ignore that because I'm too busy watching the flash and going "wow," then you DESERVE a 5 vote.

We see very few things like this on Newgrounds these days, things with some genuine art behind them.

Some absolutely teriffic atmospheric, mood, and camera angle effects made this piece stand out from many others.

The lack of speech, in my humble opinion, actually made this flash better. Sometimes words are not needed to convey a story, and it worked wonderfully here.

Make sure you make a note to tell people to turn their room lights off...makes the mood so much better and lets you see some of the very dark animation. Otherwise, brighten it up a tad.
