Needs Work..
The controls... Ugh... turned me off to the game immediatly.. very hard to use.. had to focus on which key did what instead of on the screen so i kept dying.. not a bad game, just needs a lil work.
Swarm is similar to the arcade classic Asteroids with some new twists. Swarm takes advantage of Swift 3D and is worth the slightly larger download time

Good Asteroids Remake
Well made, I really liked the way you've added new weapons, a big improvement from the original!
It's pretty tough to beat as well, it requires some skill (quite a bit at least).
The music wasn't too great, but the sound effects were just fine.
Once I died though, it was hard to tell where I was starting from, and I lost the other two lives almost instantly.
That's probably my loss though, not yours, heh.
If you like classic arcade games you can't go wrong with this one! Tons of fun!
way too glitchy
If it weren't for the glitchyness....that would be an awesome game
Not that great
The programming was good. But the screen was tiny, especially on NG where you can't resize; the ship took some getting used to, since the forward-swept wings make it always look like it was facing the opposite way; and there was no function to check the area for asteroids for your new ship appearance, so that after you're killed you can be killed instantly again if there's an asteroid in the center of the screen. And, I think you should have used arrow keys and ASD keys too -- trying to control all seven defensive, offensive and movement functions with one hand is a pain. Also, at this size and with monochrome wireframes the 3D look added nothing. It was only interesting in the intro section.
Decent programming, but a very ho-hum remake.
hmmmm
i agree with DaCritic. playing this game on a laptop sux huge monster balls. make an "arrow keys" version...
