S'alright

It's a good clone, but I have to agree with smoker, to make it more like the original, it should continue traveling forward at the same speed until an opposite force acts (like the thruster) and the speed should be greater, a remember in asteroids, the ship was a bitch to control because it was so damn fast. The "music" got old REALLY quickly, I would suggest changing it to something longer. Still got a 4, because, despite the fact I really wasn't entertained, it was a good replica of a classic game.

Very good Asteroids remake

Well made, I like the way you've added new weapons to make improvements over the original. Tough to beat as well, requires some skill. Music wasn't great but the sound effects were fine. Once I'd died once it was unclear where I was starting from and lost the other two lives quickly but that's probably me playing crap. If you like classic arcade games you can't go wrong with this.

I found this site after an NG user emailed me and pointed out that my game AirFox had been stolen from Flashkit and posted here under someone else's name. I elected to put Swarm here after reading the reviews to the guy who claimed to have written AirFox. I wanted to share something with NG inspite of the kind of people that will take credit for someone elses work. Thanks for having integrity and helpful reviews.

i agree with DaCritic. playing this game on a laptop sux huge monster balls. make an "arrow keys" version...

Good Asteroids Remake

Well made, I really liked the way you've added new weapons, a big improvement from the original!
It's pretty tough to beat as well, it requires some skill (quite a bit at least).
The music wasn't too great, but the sound effects were just fine.
Once I died though, it was hard to tell where I was starting from, and I lost the other two lives almost instantly.
That's probably my loss though, not yours, heh.
If you like classic arcade games you can't go wrong with this one! Tons of fun!
