I think we all realize this isn't completly accurate. I think we all also realize this is supposed to be comedy and doesn't need to be accurate, just funny. If your too serious about religon to find this entertaining then why watch a flash titled "messed-up bible stories"? Its fairly lighthearted humor, seemingly parodying the old school, zany, sit-com style. Not my favorite style of humor, but it still has its moments.

Ignorance

The tower was being built so that man could stay in one general location, Seeing as they were suppose to spread out and fill the earth, they weren't doing such a great job.

Gen. 11:4
"And they said, Go to, let us build a city and the tower, whose top may reach unto heaven: and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth"

They didn't want to populate the earth like they were commanded to do, so God gave them a helpful shove, lol.

"builded" might be improper language now but it wasn't when it was first translated into the English language. I like using the KJV because it is the closet to the first type of manuscript. If you think that it would have lost stuff along the way before that you should look up how they copied books back then. People dedicated their lives to rewriting books seeing that the printing press wasn't invented yet. If ONE MISTAKE was found in the book at all, the entire thing would be burned and started over, needless to say, they didn't mess up verymuch.

Awesomely Hilarious

First off, the animation and sound are well done. Secondly, I love that touch of using subtitles when quoting from the bible. "Builded" hah! I love that word now.

Overall though, a nice synopsis of biblical stories. There are depths that aren't reached by the flash, but of course that's to be expected in such a short medium as a flash movie.

Another thing, I've noticed some people have critiqued the series as being anti-christian or "not considering the christian perspective", but that's not really true.

This flash series critiques a *Literal* interpretation of the bible, not Christianity in general. Actually, since these stories are old testament, it applies to other faiths of the book, Judaism and Islam.

So, recap: Great, Hilarious flash movie that is not "Anti-Christian/Jewish/Muslim" but rather critiques those who view the stories of the old testament literally.

Nicely animated...but...

Yeah it was a pretty good FLASH, but there was no humor in it. I mean, I didn't even chuckle. I don't know about this one...but it's just me.
Keep going at it and try making the jokes...funny and not just blasphemous...haha

somehow it's kinda make sense but the tower of babel has more deeper meaning why god destroyed it. pretty good flash
