COW on conceptart. Dont like it too much, but i wanted to finish it, and so i did:
I think it is looking good. Original yet classic. Good good. But the blue line in the bottom seems rushed and not as well defined as the rest.

Please.. dont hurt my feelings.
If this kid wants to get anywhere he needs to stop making this crap, and start studying.

How about you take a look at his very first post and then look at his latest, if you can't see what a leap of progression that is then you must be blind. Your criticism is not worth a damn thing when you put it like that. Be constructive, it's not to much to ask.

I know first hand that that is not much.. if any improvement. He still doesn't know anything more than what he knew when he started almost a year ago.
Let me make it easy for you.
Say you want to learn how to read. There is two ways you can accomplish this.
1.) stare at a wall and blindy say words and gabber with words you already know.
2.) STUDY! look up how to say the words, discover what makes them work, and what they mean.
Radioactive doesnt study instead he just makes random pictures and learns NOTHING from them. I have been drawing seriously for the same amount of time and i am miles ahead of him. Want to know why? because i studied, i learned, and now i am so much better then i was a year ago. If he does this for a hobby then i have nothing against him, but it seems that he wants to go pro with his artwork someday. He is going to have a rude awakening when he applies for jobs and nobody hires him because his work is shit
So stop patting him on the back and telling him how special he is. He needs a kick in the butt and some hard studying.
good for you love ;*
I wouldent call them random, close to all of my pictures were made for contests. Contests in which i was forced to try something new outside my comfort zones. Might not be as effective as filling sheet after sheet with studies, but in my oppinion a hell of alot more fun.
Im not sure im going to make prof, its a dream. I know it'll take a lot of hard work, but right now its just a hobby, im just 16.
think of studies this way, its about speed and quality. Carving people into wood you will learn but you will learn slowly and thus its ineffective. Basically Photoshop comes later, grab a pencil and sketchbook and start drawing people, observe how the face works how the features wrap around the face. It will take time but if you keep working and keep hunting down what you dont understand then you will improve. Also when you draw people keep in mind your lightest lights and your darkest darks... dont just blob down dark colors everywhere like allot of people do.
