It's actually a feature on the gmod update to the Source 2007 engine, you need Gmod 10 (or 11 as most people call it) crank the shader detail to high and the shadows to high. Now use your flashlight or the lamp tool and point it at a prop or anything really and it'll give off a shadow. You need a shader 2.0 or higher graphics card to use this feature and it can be pretty laggy if you have an older computer.

Well, installing Windows 7 completely trashed my computer.
I couldn't get the resolution any higher than 1280x1024, my hard-drive was in the red zone, and I couldn't access any of my backed up files.
I just finished with a system format, and so need to install all my old files.
My external HD is a little wonked, meaning I have to fix it, meaning I can't access my old files yet.
Guess you won't be seeing my n00bish pics for at least another day.
