No, Not pixel- sprites. Just general characters for a game. I will work without pay if you can't afford it, but I would appreciate some money (maybe 20% would be nice) if our game makes any. Sound isn't my field, so you could pick someone else up for that, or just use flashkit.

Seriously, I need something to keep me busy during summer.

Okay, do you mean you make custom game sprites? What is a pixel sprite? Anyway, good luck trying to make money. There is no way you are going to get paid. I actually need someone to make some custom Megaman X sprites. It isn't for money, but oh well. Sprites Inc people don't want to do that work. Mainly because there are a lot of them I need. Anyway, if you are interested, I could keep you busy for awhile. PM me if you are interested.

What I mean by pixel sprites is like 8 bit, 16 bit, etc. Just Sprites made of little boxes. I hand draw sprites with my wacom tablet.

I would rather not do sprites that parody other games. It would be nice to do something a little more original.

Will you read what I write please? I'm not doing those damn sprites like in an old Nintendo game! I'm hand drawing actual original characters using the Pencil tool. I'm making them walk, punch, grab, run, kick, etc.

So, What is bad about it?

(The person has a lazy eye, so he can't color coordinate)

His legs look like...eh...I don't even know what, and they're moving in a ridiculous fashion. It doesn't look like a walk cycle at all.

He seems to be randomly swinging his limbs in a valiant effort to propel himself forward. Sorry man, it's not good.

You may want to clean up the drawing a bit at the very least.

Response to Sprite Artist for Hire Apr 8, 2008

DarkRedemption:

The Legs are a bit fast, I see. The person is a bit silly, so his movement is just him being silly. The drawing is rough because I spent only a couple hours on it a day.

Adidaas:

Just Do it.
