Well I have seen a lot of movies since '00 but I can't really think of a whole lot of '00 ones I've actually sen that are really good, a lot of my favorites are from '99 and below

As much as I thought that Borat and Superbad was awesome, they aren't great in terms of film making and are in your top 10 for reasons of personal opinion. I cbf making a full list, but the movies topping mine would be The Departed, Atonement, 300 and Lord of War.
I also fucking loved Ocean's 12 but it's not really a best-movie contender, again in terms of cinematography.
There is nothing you can name that is more delicious and awesome than Subway.

As an action flick I don't think it really excelled in any way, but it had its charm. I wouldn't put it on a list of worst films, but if you were going to seriously make a list of the best films of the last eight years would you honestly put it in the top ten? Would it even be in contention?

I agree with the most of the ones you said were good but the movie "Black X-mas" wasn't all too bad, a little played out and all, sure. But it was far from the top of the worst movies since 2000.

Agreed, I thought I Robot was a great movie, but it's out of the running compared to the other movies that have come out since '00. Just like a lot of other movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers and so on, they were all good but far from the best.

It was good because it was the only movie in the past 10 years that wasn't cliche. The good robot thing was far more original then most. Everyone always seems to take the terminator route of "technology ultimately destroys us, no question, no doubts, sit down and eat your fucking popcorn dorkwad!"
Other than that, it was far from what it was hyped out to be. I am Legend was far better. One of Smith's best roles, and easily makes it onto the list, even tho the last 20 min. was cliche and the ending sucked, and it had no relation to the book at all, it was a great movie all in all.
