I've got a lot going on right now with classes and work and stuff, but this is just way too tempting. I've been considering a subscription to Heavy Metal for quite a while now, and am really excited about trying to make a photorealistic pic. Also, not to be a dick, but I wish you hadn't encouraged tracing and overpainting to that extent in the tutorial.
Now we're just going to get a bunch of traced pornography with skirts and guns slapped on...
Reference is a good learning tool, but tracing and overpainting photos is going a little overboard for a contest (unless of course, you take your own reference pictures).

Yeah, the songs suck. He told me once that he tries to make the music fit the theme of what he's doing though, and for the most part he doesn't a good job with that. Just turn your sound off if you don't like it.

And in about 12 hours I've made this. I think all I need to do is add some dodge-tool effects to shade it and it should be just about done.

Yeah the quote thing is fucked up right now. Anyways, you don't have to put all the details, but it gives extra points :P Also it's an extra challenge to place your figure properly so it doesn't hide too much of the title.
alright..following with Luis's example imma submit somethine that is sure to be rejected. But I will make sure there are some misc. strategically placed fantasy items to cover the naughty bits.
