This sucks I live in sweden and apperently I can´t go and be proud of living here withouut being called a racist I mean cmon I wore thors hammer round my neck... so what? it is a symbol that was used by wikings in the north I like that culture and thats why I wear it but no some guys at town stopped me and said that I was a fucking racist... why I asked "becouse you are WHITE and you wear that necklace" I got so pissed that I hit him. than an old lady showed up and said to me that if I did that agian she would report me for a hate crime.... WTF!?

Well the problem is I´m not I accept everybody that accepts me it is just that everybody assumes that I am racist becouse of that I am white and/or swedish.

Since in sweden some racistic groups missuse the symbol but many other people that are not racists wear it as well (otherwise I do not know). Besides why not wear a friggin hammer round my nek it is awsome.

Its just another case of white people having to deny their heritage to appease the 'guests' of a country, it reminds me of the stories I heard of people having to take British flags down, IN BRITAIN, can you imagine going to Saudi Arabia or Iran and saying 'excuse me I demand you take that flag down, I find it offensive', I will never understand why all other cultures can be celebrated, but white people cant celebrate theirs.

Its called reverse rasicm(sp?) and you shouldn't have to put up with it, i say the forum starter should get some of his friends, put on the hammer necklace thingie and do his own version of the six million man march, just to say "Fuck you i'll wear this hammer wherever and whenever i want"

And the Swastika had a platheora of uses before hitler. And yes, it's a very neat symbol and all, but can't be used anymore.

The problem is, that sometimes, a few idiots can ruin good things.

You could try to counterweight the Thors hammer with something, idk, red-gold-green wristband or something.

So with the prior knowledge that such a symbol stands for hatred apparently, why would you then push the envelope just to get a reaction out of it. That would be like me selling kindling shaped like crucifixes.
