Right, With the loss of Wednesday night (Rugby), Saturday afternoon, evening and wee small hours (Cricket / Pub / Metal gig), I've lost some substantial B/P time there. Mind you, looking when I did manage to check in, the portal was quite quiet. Still, that's no excuse.

I'll see if I can close a little more again on Recon over the next week and Ehwaz is still there, so I'll head on and get to striking distance soon.

Can you believe it's been three years since I took over the B/P update from Afro_Stud? I'm still going strong and still see no sign of stopping which I'm sure makes me the longest running B/P updater to date. To celebrate three years of B/P updates, I'm going to do a few special things:

1. Scrapping star pace!

Let's face it, the only way star pace is even possible with a 100+ per day pace is either Clock Day or there's a fluke with getting blams from flagged entries. The only person who even got star pace of any kind outside Clock Day since 2007 is harryjarry and that was only because of those blam points for flagged entries cleared out. Not only that, portal activity has been on a heavy decline. We used to get over 200 entries every day but that number has been falling horribly fast. These days we have to be lucky to even get 100 submissions in a single day.

2. Estimates to Supreme Commander, 50k, 100k and 200k B/P

D0GMA used to have estimations to when users would reach the top 50 as well as Supreme Commander. They weren't exactly on his B/P site but rather posted them here. This is one step forward to the original great Elite Guard Ranking List D0GMA used to provide us. I'd turn it web-based but I remember what you all said about that. Each estimation list will cover the top 10 closest to each milestone rather than everyone. 200k B/P won't be available for the time being.

3. 40+ B/P for bold

I think we need to lower the bars for this as well seeing as there's so little able to get above 50/day nowadays.

4. Top 400 extension special

This is just a one off but I thought I'd show everyone what it likes 100 ranks below the list just thus once. Those who are in the top 400 right now and working their way to the top 300 are in for a treat right here! Rankings in posts will be abnormal for this update as a result. However, the statastics below will only apply to the top 300.

5. Feedback on Twitter/Facebook pages for stats list notifications

Maybe this doesn't affect the list itself but I think it will be a huge convenience for those who follow several lists and happen to use either Twitter, Facebook or even both! If you want to comment on this idea, COMMENT HERE! I want to have all feedback stored right there to see the overall verdict.

No, but that was a good change, I feel. Regardless of whether or not Afro wants to whine at me for this, having someone that cares about the updates and the stats within helps. Face it, the updates look so different now, even moreso than those of Denvish.

I've been slowly chipping away at the difference between myself and the active users in front of me. One of my better weeks gains me even more than usual and if I keep this up I should pass them within a months time.

I've gotten back into B/Ping the last couple of weeks. Forgot how good of a time killer it is. This week I managed to get my best pace in a very, very long time. Awesome update, thanks Bahamut!

To be honest, Nijsse will probably reach 100 K before I do. :/
On the positive side, I will pass ADT sometime this week. :)

That's not very friendly. Really, I'm not, I just wanted to give you a heads up. 100k is just way to much for me and I wish you all the best in reaching that goal. You know, I've been a Surpreme Commander for over 6 years now, and I've been in the top lists for years. Really, I don't see any point trying to get there again, especially because medal games are much more fun to me.

I recently found this screenshot made by Denvish the day I reached SC. Amazing how easy it was to get blam points back then. 0_0
