In class we are reading the Adventure of huckleberry Finn and if yo know anythin bout American literature in that book it uses the word nig*er quite a bit. When we read it in classes kids go out of their way when they come to the word and say they will not say that word. So instead of using ni*ger we say "slave" now. Can some one remind me where we are living? O yeah America, where freedom of speech is excised. If you are not using the word ni*ger in a offensive way or not directly calling someone a ni*ger why be sacred to say it? You have no intention of do harm. I hate walking on eggshells when saying this word. And no i am not racist but then again everyone is racist to an extent. It's part of us now to judge just by stereotypes. Now black people get all angry that we(white people) use this word, they are showing their ignorance when they get mad at the word when it is NOT used offensively. If it's not used in a derogitory way then why go out of your way and say that person is racist? This has been on my mind. What you guys think?
*nice newgrounds woun't even let me even type out the whole word ni*ger without censoring it*
